In June 2023 I was invited by Bishop Mark Chironna to participate in The Issachar Initiative, a conference on “The Care and Cure of Souls.” The online conference brought together a multicultural, trans-generation group of pastoral leaders and academic scholars concerned with the conditions of where we are as a people and how we can combine religion and depth psychology in our personal and collective journey toward wholeness. I am sharing with you my participation in this conference where I am in conversation with Dr. Chironna and other caring, thoughtful participants on this journey. My hope is that it will contribute to your journey as well.
